Australia’s School of the Air shows that children can learn even when they live far away from school. Today, many students around the world also learn from home using the internet. During Covid-19, this became very important. It also helped create a new way of learning called blended learning.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, millions of students suddenly had to stay at home. Just like the children in remote parts of Australia, they attended lessons online instead of in classrooms. Teachers used video calls, digital platforms, and learning apps to continue education. However, not everyone had the same access to technology or a quiet place to study. This showed that while distance learning can be effective, it also has disadvantages.
