On November 14, 1948, a baby boy named Charles Philipp Arthur George was born in Kensington Palace. His mom was Princess Elizabeth, the Duchess of Edinburgh and his dad was Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Charles has three brothers and sisters – Anne, Andrew, and Edward. His grandfather was King George VI. When Charles was three, his grandfather died, and his mother became Queen Elizabeth II. Following tradition, Charles became the Prince of Wales, making him the next in line to the throne. Growing up in the Royal Family, Charles went to excellent schools and even studied at Cambridge. He also served in the Royal Air Force and Navy.
